Citizens of the world waiting for a midnight of dumbfounding predictions were wowed on New Year Day when the world renowned televangelist and prophet, TB Joshua welcomed his millions of church members into 2015 in the early hours of Thursday. This time around, his message was a direct difference from that of many other church leaders around the world. Rather than be greeting one another happy new year, Joshua urged the congregants who thronged the sprawling headquarters building of the church in Ikotun, Lagos Nigeria to thenceforth greet one another "Good Morning." It turned out to be a deliberate and symbolic way of attuning the minds of the church members to a new dawn of blessings that, according to the man of God, would come the way of the faithful in 2015. So if you meet a synagogue member greeting you "Good Morning" in the afternoon or the dead of night, don't be shocked, it is their way of telling you that the freshness of life will be with you throughout the new year.
Meanwhile, scores of family members of the tragic victims of the Synagogue building collapse came from South Africa during the new year celebrations to attend a special tribute for the deceased tagged "Martyrs of the faith". From the look of things, it was obvious the South Africans have accepted the tragedy as the will of God going by the dancing and rejoicing that took place during the tribute. The south Africans were joined by over two thousand other foreigners who were among the 100000 odd worshippers at the celebrations.
