The Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has expressed profound happiness at the significant victory won by COSON recently at the Federal High Court, Lagos over Pretty Okafor, Premier Music and Co.
Expressing the joy of PMAN members across the country, Comrade Obi Okwudili Casmir (Voombastic Unclep), the new President of PMAN who came with his team to COSON House, Ikeja said, "We are here to congratulate COSON on the massive victory at the High Court . I call it good over evil, right over wrong and God over everything".
Comrade Okwudili condemned a situation where anyone who claims to be
part of the music industry can freeze the account through which
royalties are paid to thousands of innocent Nigerian musicians.
COSON Chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji thanked the PMAN delegation for the solidarity visit promising that COSON will continue to fully defend the interest of Nigerian musicians without apologies to any one.
