IBADAN AGOG AS NEW OLUBADAN IS CROWNED

The ancient city of Ibadan today went agog as OBA ADETUNJI,  the music merchant next in rank to the late Oba Odugade was installed as the 41st OLUBADAN. Continuing in the tradition of largely rancor-free succession, Governor Abiola Ajimobi, first ever Ibadan indigene to be governor during an Olubadan's advent, presented the staff of office at a ceremony witnessed by the creme de la creme of the Nigerian society.

Held at the legendary Map Hall, the event witnessed by hundreds of thousands of Ibadan residents mixing with distinguished visitors from around Nigeria and the rest of the world.
