Former Chelsea and England legend Ray Wilkins has died, aged 61.
Raymond Colin Wilkins who was born on the 14th of September 1956, passed away this morning at St George's Hospital where he was being treated for cardiac arrest since he was rushed there some days ago.

Wilkins, a former Chelsea player from his academy days captained the team during the late 1970s. He was voted as Chelsea's player of the year in 1976 and 1977. Besides being an Assistant Manager at Chelsea under four different managers, he had two spells as caretaker manager in 2000 and 2009 respectively.
Wilkins made 84 appearances for the "Three Lions" and also captained his country ten times. He was considered by most English fans as one of their great English midfielders.
